Federal Pell Grants
Federal Pell Grants are available to matriculated undergraduates only. Eligibility is determined by a federal formula established by congress using information from the FAFSA. The maximum Federal Pell Grant award for the 2009-2010 award year will be $5,350, which is an increase of $619 from the 2008-2009 award year.
Please be aware that the financial aid rules for summer session have recently changed. Congress has introduced full-year Federal Pell Grant funding beginning with the 2009-2010 academic year. All students who are Pell Grant eligible may use the award in summer without reducing their eligibility for the fall and spring semesters.
