Facilities Master Planning Committees and Processes

Workflow and Processes

The Facilities Master Plan relies on broad input from the college community as we consider facilities, infrastructure and space needs necessary to support the college’s academic mission, program offerings and support services. Students, faculty and staff are invited to voice their ideas, concerns and aspirations via town hall meetings, focus group interviews and comments on the Master Plan website. The Working Committee considers these suggestions at our bimonthly meetings with our Master Plan consultants, Pfeiffer Partners Architects, and then makes recommendations to the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee, in turn, meets monthly with Pfeiffer Partners, presenting its final recommendations to CUNY and the college’s Board of Trustees at key decision points throughout the process.
