Women’s Basketball Team Enters First Round of ECAC Metro Tourney

Fans of Brooklyn College women’s basketball: Come out to the West Quad Gymnasium tonight at 5 p.m. to cheer on the Bulldogs. The game is not only the opening round of the East Coast Athletic Conference Metro Tournament but also may be the final home game of the Bulldogs’ 2009–10 season.

Our women Bulldogs, who are the tourney’s No. 4 seed with a season record of 16-10, will be facing off against the Ospreys of Richard Stockton College, who earned a fifth seed with a 13-13 record.

Other teams in the tournament are St. Joseph’s-Long Island, Stevens Institute of Technology, College of Mount St. Vincent, Drew University, New York University and Hunter College.

Get in on the excitement of the 2009-10 CUNYAC South Division Winners as they look to advance in postseason play.  Admission is free, so come on out to show your support for the women Bulldogs!
