Prof. Mancini is director of the journalism program of the English Department with 20 years experience as an award-winning reporter and editor of the New York Post when under the ownership of Dorothy Schiff. He has written free-lance articles for the New York Times, Washington Post and countless other mainstream publications. He is the author of seven novels and his works have been translated into several foreign languages.
Education: BACHELOR OF ARTS, FORDHAM UNIVERSITY - 1961 (COMMUNICATIONS, GENERAL) Areas of Expertise: Prof. Mancini is an expert in journalistic, non-fiction and fiction writing techniques, journalism ethics and news analysis. His work also has focused on the Italian-American experience. He is writing a novel based on Napoleon Buonaparte's relationship with a Malay slave while both were exiled to the isle of St. Helena. |
