Wendy Fairey has taught in the English Department since 1985. She has served as the dean of undergraduate studies (1985-89), director of Women's Studies (1990-93), director of the London Study Abroad Program (2002), CUNY Honors College director (2005-06)and acting director of the Brooklyn College Honors Academy (2006). Previously, she held teaching and administrative posts at Columbia University, the University of Hawaii, Bowdoin College, Barnard College and Hollins College.

My course load included an undergraduate course in memoir and autobiographical fiction and an M.A.-level course on Indian English fiction.
