Johnson\, award-winning author of All Boys Aren’t Blue and We Are Not Broken. Johnson will share insights from their work at the intersections of race\, gender\, sexuality\, and education. \nHighlights include: \n\nA keynote address by George M. Johnson\nWorkshops on storytelling\, restorative practices\, embodied movement\, and strategies for sustaining LGBTQ+ educators in today’s political climate\nOpportunities for networking\, mentorship\, and collaboration across generations of educators\nSpace to build community with others navigating the challenges and joys of teaching while LGBTQ+.\n\nThe PE Institute is co-sponsored by the the Brooklyn College LGBTQ+ Resource Center\, Brooklyn College School of Education\, and Center for LGBTQ Studies at the CUNY Graduate Center.
