- Log in to your CUNYfirst account.
- Click “Admissions Center”.
- Select “View My Application Status”.
- Click “View Details” for Brooklyn College to view your admission offer.
- Select “I Accept Offer”.
- Select “Confirm Offer Acceptance”.
Next Steps After You Commit
Now that you’ve confirmed you belong at Brooklyn College, here’s how to start your journey as a first-year student.
1. Make an Advisement and Registration Appointment
- Download the Navigate Student App from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Follow the instructions your receive in your advisement and registration email.
2. File Your FAFSA
If you haven’t already, make sure to file your FAFSA.
- Go to studentaid.gov
- Complete the 2026–27 FAFSA form.
- Add Brooklyn College’s federal school code: 002687
3. Submit Your Immunization Records
- Submit measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and meningitis documentation, or waiver.
- Email your records to hpo@brooklyn.cuny.edu.
4. Attend Freshman Orientation
Orientation is a great way to meet other new students, get all the key information you need, and feel ready to start your first semester at Brooklyn College!
- Check your email invitation for dates.
- Register for an in-person orientation session.
5. Activate Your BC Digital ID Card
BC Navigator gives you access to core Brooklyn College services and personalized information directly from your phone. Available on both iOS and Android devices!
Download the BC Navigator App from the Apple App Store or Google Play to set up your digital ID.
6. Pay Your Tuition
Review payment due dates and payment options available through the Bursar’s office.
7. Submit Final Transcripts
- If you are a non-NYC Public School graduate, submit a sealed official final transcript with graduation date to the Admissions Office at 222 West Quad Center.
- Or, have your school counselor email it to Undergradproc@brooklyn.cuny.edu.

Financial Aid and Scholarships
Step 1: File FAFSA and TAP
Filing the FAFSA application is your first step in determining your financial aid eligibility.
Once you file your FAFSA on studentaid.gov, you’ll receive a link to the New York State Tuition Assistance Program, or TAP, which offers grants to eligible New York State residents.
Allow up to seven days for us to receive your FAFSA application.

Step 2: Check CUNYfirst
You may need to submit documents to finalize your aid by logging into CUNYfirst. Please do this as soon as possible.
Step 3: Apply for Scholarships
Brooklyn College offers scholarships to help you pay for your education. There are specific scholarships available for incoming students.

Payment plans make it easier for you to pay tuition and fees that aren’t covered by financial aid.
