Interborough Express (IBX)scoping meeting

• The Interborough Express is a proposed new transit line that would convert a 14-mile freight line into a commuter rail service connecting neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens. 
• The project aims to improve transit access for hundreds of thousands of residents and create better connections between different subway and LIRR lines. 
• The MTA is currently in the environmental review process under SEQRA (New York State Environmental Quality Review Act) to determine the project’s potential impacts.
