Lavender Graduation

Lavender Graduation is a nationwide ceremony held by colleges and universities. The annual ceremony was created to recognize LGBTQ+ students and acknowledge their achievements and contributions to the university. Brooklyn College has an annual lavender graduation ceremony that takes place before Commencement. The event will feature a keynote speech from Jack Waters, an artist and activist, and a vogue performance from Ernest Allen. Additionally, the event will feature speeches from President Michelle J. Anderson and many staff and faculty to honor the graduating students.
