You will also be able to persuade others, make informed judgments in difficult situations, and learn to detect mistakes in reasoning. You will learn how to write about complex subjects and process technical passages of text.
A minor in philosophy and the sciences will prepare you for a wide range of careers—in science, law, business, finance, management, technology, journalism, education, politics, and civil service—by cultivating your abilities to think critically and creatively about complex problems, and to express yourself with confidence and clarity.
