By declaring a minor in cognitive science, you will get to explore the study of human thought and its relation to human activities, including the study of language, perception, memory, and reasoning. You’ll expand your knowledge of the mind and acquire critical skills in scientific research. This interdisciplinary minor will enhance and complement studies in fields such as computer science, linguistics, philosophy, psychology, anthropology, biological sciences, mathematics, statistics, biomathematics, communication, and engineering.
With a background and training in cognitive science, you can set yourself apart as a candidate in such professions as human resources, archaeology, advertising, machine learning, software design, neurology, therapy and psychological services, law, and many more.
