Graduate Financial Aid
The Office of Financial Aid offers various aid options to cover the cost of graduate study.
Federal Aid
All federal aid programs require that students complete the FAFSA before eligibility is determined. The following federal financial aid programs are available at Brooklyn College for students in eligible graduate programs.
Institutional Aid
- Non-federal or state grants and scholarships may be available through Brooklyn College’s scholarship office.
- Graduate tuition waivers may be available within your academic department. There is a limited amount of waiver resources allocated to certain academic departments. Check with the academic department chair for your program if you would like to know if the graduate tuition waiver is an option for your area of study.
Loans
Loans are a type of aid that must be repaid with interest. Federal Direct Loans and Private Educational Loans are available options at Brooklyn College. Federal Direct loans have different eligibility requirements than private alternative loans.
