Scholarships for entering students cannot be deferred. If you are awarded a scholarship and choose not to attend for the year, you must reapply; your previous application will not be held.

Entering freshmen must apply to CUNY and receive an EMPLID before they fill out an application. Once you receive your EMPLID, please use it as your username for the honors applications.

Scholarships for Graduate Students

Funding for graduate study is available.

B.A.-M.D. and Scholars Program Scholarships

Honors programs are open only to entering freshmen.

You cannot apply to the B.A.-M.D. Program or Scholars Program without first applying to CUNY.

If you are a Macaulay Honors student, you can receive funding from Macaulay or a Presidential Scholarship. You cannot receive both.

All new freshmen and transfer students who apply for scholarships must complete the application below as well as the CUNY application. Scholarships for entering students cannot be deferred. If you are awarded a scholarship and choose not to attend for the year, you must reapply; your previous application will not be held.

Entering freshmen must apply to CUNY and receive an EMPLID before they fill out this application. Once you receive your EMPLID, do not use it as a username for the honors applications. Choose something else as your username. If you have applied to CUNY and have not received your EMPLID, follow these instructions on how to find your CUNYfirst EMPLID (PDF).
