While a bachelor’s degree suffices for many entry-level accounting and auditing roles, a master’s degree in accounting will help advance your career as an accountant. Designed for those who have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, this AACSB-accredited program qualifies you for New York State CPA licensure. Fully online and asynchronous, the program can be completed in one year on your own schedule. This program will provide you with a valuable credential and bolster your analytical and financial acumen.
Our highly regarded Master of Science in Accounting program will prepare you for CPA licensure. This program is registered with the New York State Education Department as meeting the 150 semester-hour requirement for CPA candidates.

This program is registered with the NYS Education Department as meeting the 150 semester-hour requirement for CPA candidates. Students who complete the program may sit for the CPA examination. Course work emphasizes asset valuation and related problems of enterprise reporting, tax research and planning, comptrollership and managerial accounting, contemporary accounting topics, and accounting requirements of the SEC. Applicants must have coursework equivalent to the BS in accounting at Brooklyn College.
