Where You'll Go

Declaring a minor allows you to explore other areas of interest and make interdisciplinary connections, and minors complement your study of business management. By declaring a minor, you can set yourself apart as a candidate for job opportunities in business law across a variety of industries. You can help companies design and implement contracts, acquire new properties, and respond to potential lawsuits. Your possible job opportunities include financial analysts, human resources managers, paralegals, employee relations managers, and compliance officers.

Minor Requirements

A grade of C- or higher in each of the six courses offered in the minor.

All of the following: Accounting 2001, Accounting 3201, Accounting 4201, Business 3220, [Business 3310] or Finance 3310 or Business 3300, and Business 3350

Recommended courses: Philosophy 3314, Philosophy 3740, and Accounting 3360 or Business 3360
