Why do people form the attitudes and impressions they do? How do individual factors, culture, mass media, economics, and social trends influence people’s decisions? By declaring a minor in consumer behavior, you’ll get to explore these questions from the perspectives of the Psychology, Sociology, Business, and other departments interested in popular culture.
Declaring a minor allows you to make interdisciplinary connections and explore interests outside of your major field of study. A minor in consumer behavior will particularly set you apart as a candidate for positions such as an advertising or brand manager, product developer, market research analyst, and consumer psychologist, among others.
