A minor in exercise science prepares you to work with people in a variety of areas related to physical fitness, wellness, and human performance. In the minor program, you’ll take core science that relate to anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and psychology.

Minor Requirements (21 Credits)
The minor in exercise science prepares students to work with people in a variety of areas related to physical fitness, wellness, and human performance. Students gain an academic background in exercise science by taking courses related to anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, fitness training, and sports psychology.

Select a minimum of four courses from the following: Health and Nutrition Sciences 3005, 3290, 3295, 4200W, 4260, 4400, 4402, 4500.
