By declaring a minor in human resource development and management, you will learn about the legal, operational, and social responsibilities of HR managers and how their work supports both the functional departments and the employees within a business. An interdisciplinary minor, this program requires courses across the Business, Sociology, and Psychology departments.
Declaring a minor allows you to explore interests outside of your major and make interdisciplinary connections. With a minor in human resource development and management, you’ll set yourself apart as a candidate in a number of positions, such as project manager, organizational development officer, consultant, and recruiter, to name a few.
