By declaring a minor in journalism, you will develop your critical writing, reporting, and storytelling abilities. Courses in this minor give you a strong grounding and competencies in multi-platform content creation that prepare you to thrive in all contemporary workplaces and industries.
Minors allow you to explore other areas of interest, make interdisciplinary connections, and gain specific skills and competencies that employers and graduate schools find attractive. The journalism minor enhances your writing and media-making abilities across a variety of contemporary platforms and prepares you for any job that requires content creation and communication skills.
