Declaring a minor in Law and Judaic studies, will introduce you to a range of topics, from the role that legal traditions have played in Jewish thought to the ways in which state policy, migration, and debates over citizenship have shaped Jewish history over time.
Declaring a minor allows you to make interdisciplinary connections and expand your academic studies beyond your major. A minor in Law and Judaic Studies offers you a good background applicable to careers in the legal professions, social policy, communal advocacy, work in government, political advocacy, or philanthropy.
The program information listed here reflects the approved curriculum for the 2025–26 academic year per the Brooklyn College Bulletin. Bulletins from past academic years can be found here.
