Brooklyn College is proud to announce that adjunct art faculty member Lee Maxey has been selected for the highly competitive 2026–27 Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program residency.
The program is recognized as one of New York City’s premier artist residencies, providing artists with dedicated studio space and opportunities to engage with curators, critics, and arts professionals. Maxey, who teaches painting, joins an accomplished cohort of emerging and established artists selected by a jury of distinguished contemporary artists.
