Brooklyn College has received the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) Champion Award for its exceptional dedication to fostering partnerships with SDVOBs and promoting economic opportunities for service-disabled veterans. “We are deeply honored to receive this recognition,” said Brooklyn College President Michelle J. Anderson. “Supporting veteran-owned businesses is not only our responsibility, it’s a privilege. These partnerships enhance our institution and create a stronger, more inclusive economy.” Brooklyn College was selected for its consistent engagement with SDVOBs and its dedication to fostering meaningful partnerships that reflect the values of service, integrity, and community. The college also met Governor Hochul’s mandated 30% Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation goal.
