The Cancer Center seeks to address health inequalities and unmet needs by connecting patients, health care providers, academic researchers, and community organizations dealing with health disparities.
Community Outreach
Brooklyn College is a local hub for community outreach by scientists and students alike. Specific goals for the Cancer Center’s community outreach include: public seminars (science, resources); information on treatment options; access to clinical trials, prevention, supportive care, and aftercare; and medical-translation training.
