Speech-Language Pathology Scholarships
Funding is available to help support your graduate study in speech-language pathology. The program offers multiple scholarships and awards, and eligible students are strongly encouraged to apply for as many opportunities as possible through a single online application system.
Available Scholarships
Diana Rogovin Davidow Scholarship
The Davidow Scholarship is an award to help defray the cost of tuition for a full-time speech-language pathology student.
Award: Up to $4,500, distributed in installments in each of two consecutive semesters of study.
Professor Gail Gurland Scholarship
The Gurland Scholarship is an award to help defray the cost of tuition for a full-time speech-language pathology student.
Award: Up to $2,000, distributed in installments in each of two consecutive semesters of study.
Sylvia Walters Memorial Award
The Sylvia Walters Memorial Award is an award to help defray the cost of tuition for a full-time speech-language pathology student.
Award: Up to $1,400, distributed in installments in each of two consecutive semesters of study.
Mel Silverman Scholarship
The Silverman Scholarship is an award to help defray the cost of tuition for a Brooklyn College student in his/her second semester of the speech-language pathology program as a full-time student, or who is beginning the second year of graduate study in the program as a full-time student.
Award: Up to $3,000, distributed in installments in each of two consecutive semesters of study.

The Bloodstein Scholarship is an award to help defray the cost of tuition for a Brooklyn College student in the speech-language pathology program.
Award: Up to $1,000, distributed in installments in each of two consecutive semesters of study.

Oliver Bloodstein served the Brooklyn College community and the profession of communication sciences and disorders with distinction for most of his life. Jennifer Amy Silverstein Memorial Scholarship
The Silverstein Scholarship is an award to help defray the cost of tuition for a full-time, first-year speech-language pathology student.
Award: Up to $1,000, distributed in installments in each of two consecutive semesters of study.
Rose Goldstein Memorial Scholarship
The Goldstein Scholarship is an award to help defray the cost of tuition for a Brooklyn College graduate students, including those in the speech-language pathology program.
Award: Up to $2,500.
Iris J. Jacobs Scholarship
The Iris J. Jacobs Scholarship is an award to help defray the cost of tuition for a Brooklyn College graduate students, including those in the speech-language pathology program.
Award: Up to $2,000.
Bloodstein Memorial Scholarship
Oliver Bloodstein served the Brooklyn College community and the profession of communication sciences and disorders with distinction for most of his life. He touched the lives of countless students, colleagues, and patients through his unique approach to teaching, research, scholarship, and clinical practice. In order to sustain his legacy and commitment to his students, consider a donation in honor of his memory so that we may establish the Oliver Bloodstein Memorial Graduate Scholarship in Speech-Language Pathology (information below).
