¡Adelante!: Resisting, Reclaiming, Rejoicing

Brooklyn College officially kicks off Latinx Heritage Month with “¡Adelante!: Resisting, Reclaiming, Rejoicing.” This vibrant evening of celebration will feature live music, inspiring speeches, and delicious traditional dishes, highlighted by guest appearances from bestselling Haitian American author Ibi Zoboi and Flora-Morena Ferreira Lucini, the founder and vocalist of the Afro-progressive hardcore band MAAFA.

The event is proudly co-hosted by the Black and Latino Male Initiative, Immigrant Student Success Office, SAIL Center, Puerto Rican and Latinx Studies Department, BC Dream Team, Mexican Heritage Student Association, Ecuadorian Student Association, and Haitian-American Student Association.
