The Intersection of Africana Philosophy and Critical Philosophies of Race: Decolonizing Initiatives in Academia and Beyond

The LGBTQ+ Center is co-sponsoring the Philosophy Department’s Africana Philosophy Talk. Professors Kris Sealey (Fairfield University) and Chike Jeffers (Dalhousie University) will discuss the present state of Black philosophy, the persistence of anti-Blackness within academia, and the ongoing efforts to decolonize philosophy, and will take questions on the intersection of LGBTQ+ and Black experience.

This event will be in-person, on Zoom, and live-streamed on YouTube.
