Herbert Kurz Business Consortium

The Herbert Kurz Business Consortium is named for Herbert Kurz (1920–2014), founder of Presidential Life Insurance. The consortium is a partnership between Brooklyn College, Rockland Community College, and the CEJJES Institute. Leadership for the consortium is provided by the Koppelman School of Business Dean’s Office and the current holder of Herbert Kurz Chair of Finance and Risk Management. The consortium hosts six networking events each year where community members and faculties from consortium member institutions engage in conversations related to topics such as investments, current economic matters, personal and family finance, nonprofit management, and philanthropy.
