College Now
College Now is a free college transition/dual enrollment program for New York City high school students. Public school, parochial, and private school students are all invited to participate. Eligible students can apply for pre-college or college credit courses to explore subjects across the curriculum, prepare for college, and earn up to 12 transferable college credits.
How to Participate
New York City public high school students may apply directly for college courses in the College Now Program as early as the spring of their sophomore year. Application, transcript, and essay are required. Private school principals or counselors may request to establish College Now partnerships between Brooklyn College and their high schools.
Coursework and Support
Courses span the liberal arts, sciences, and humanities curricula and include topics in business and finance, computer science, ecology and environmental studies, forensic anthropology, health and nutrition, music technology, psychology, sociology, and speech communications.
