College Now

College Now is a free college transition / dual enrollment program for New York City high school students. Public school, parochial, and private school students are all invited to participate. Eligible students can apply for pre-college or college credit courses to explore subjects across the curriculum, prepare for college, and earn up to 12 transferable college credits.

Buster especially missed the students.

How to Participate

Students may enroll in pre-college courses in Brooklyn College’s College Now Program as early as their sophomore year and in college courses as early as the summer before junior year. Application, transcript, and essay are required.

Courses span the liberal arts, sciences, and humanities curricula and include topics in business and finance, computer science, ecology and environmental studies, forensic anthropology, health and nutrition, music technology, philosophy and ethics, psychology, sociology, and visual media production.

College Now is the largest collaborative initiative partnering the City University of New York (CUNY) and the NYCDOE. Housed in CUNY’s Office of K16 Initiatives, College Now is designed to improve the academic achievement of New York City public high school students.
