The Ethyle R. Wolfe Institute for the Humanities offers an honorarium of $150 for guest speakers in Brooklyn College classes. Independent scholars and artists are especially encouraged.

Steps to Apply

Apply for a $150 honorarium to invite a guest speaker.

  1. Confirm your course is eligible (humanities, social sciences, interdisciplinary, or co-meeting classes).
  2. Invite your guest speaker (any platform works — online or in person).
  3. Complete the request form at the bottom of this page.
  4. Wait for confirmation from the Wolfe Institute.
  5. Host your speaker and engage your students in conversation.

  • All Brooklyn College faculty, including adjuncts.
