Program Overview
By declaring a minor in acting, you can perform in plays and collaborate with peers in productions put on by the Department of Theater. You get to explore a variety of classes in acting technique, improvisation, movement, voice and speech, and acting with the camera as well as the business of acting and other courses. An ensemble-based, conservatory-style curriculum guarantees a close-knit community in which you can tap into and express your artistic abilities.

Minor Requirements (24 Credits)
Theater 1101, 1202, 1203, and 1204; and 12 credits chosen from the following courses, each completed with a grade of C or higher: Theater 2102, 2103, 3102, 3103, 2110, 2111, 2112, 2113, 3620, 3701, 4620, 4710. Any substitution of courses must be approved by the chair or designee/ undergraduate deputy chair.
