FAQ

How do I request a matching gift?

Requesting a matching gift is normally a five-minute process which must be initiated by the donor. You can usually do this via an electronic submission process through an online portal facilitated by your employer. Sometimes submitting a paper match form provided by your employer is necessary.

In most cases, you will use your employer’s online matching gifts portal to fill out any necessary matching gift paperwork.

In other cases, you may need to send Brooklyn College the matching gift paperwork. Please send this to the Brooklyn College Foundation offices and include your name and address and how you would like us to direct your matching gift upon its arrival.
