The Conservatory of Music provides a strong foundation for aspiring musicians in fundamental skills such as keyboard, ear-training, and theory, along with a broad background in music history and diverse musical styles. We offer a full range of undergraduate-level degrees in performance, composition, musicology, and music education. Our newest offering is the B.A. in music with a music technology track. Students of any major may also minor in music, music technology, or music business.

Admissions Auditions What Can You Do With a Degree in Music? New York State Excelsior Scholarship
In combination with other student financial aid programs, this scholarship allows students to attend a CUNY college tuition-free. Note, however, that acceptance to the conservatory’s performance programs requires an audition.
