Food Pantry

Student Eligibility

• The program is open to currently enrolled Brooklyn College and CUNY students.
• Applicants need to complete a brief intake form before or during their first visit.
• Two visits per month are permitted.
• Students who need additional help with food or other resources (housing, health insurance, etc.) are encouraged to reach out to Student Support Services, which is also housed in the Food Pantry.

How to Access the Pantry

Scheduling an appointment is recommended, but not required.

Complete this intake form, then schedule an appointment or walk into the Food Pantry during our hours.

What to Expect

After scheduling an appointment or walking into the Food Pantry (during hours of operation), students will be invited to submit an online order for the items they’d like.

Pantry staff will pack orders for students to take home the day of the visit.

Students are encouraged to bring their own bag or reuse the bag provided upon their initial visit to the Food Pantry.

How to Make Referrals to the Food Pantry

Staff and faculty are encouraged to refer students who express a need that could be addressed by using the Brooklyn College Food Pantry.

How to Donate

We accept donations of nonperishable food and toiletries during our hours of operation; or you may purchase items on our Amazon wish list, which will be automatically delivered to the Pantry once purchased.
