The Possible Dream is the Puerto Rican & Latinx Studies Department’s biggest event of the year!
Encuentro is a day-long event filled with panels, an exhibit of archives, a salsa lesson, a catered lunch, and dance party!
Featuring our keynote speaker, CUNY Professor and author of The Young Lords: A Radical History, Dr. Johanna Fernandez, it will be a day to reflect in community, on all the work those before us have done, all that they have accomplished, and how we can follow in their footsteps.
