Intro to Vogue Performance—Part 1, Featuring Legendary Overall Mother Jada Gabbana

Thanks to the TV show Pose and to last year’s first ever CUNY-wide Vogue Ball at Brooklyn College, the rich history of ballroom culture and houses is gaining mainstream attention. Whether newly founded, “legendary,” or “iconic,” house culture is a vitally important part of New York City Black and Latino LGBTQ+ history. We invite all students to attend our workshops on house and ball culture featuring mothers from the NYC KiKi ballroom scene.
