GLARE Research and Projects

GLARE faculty are engaged in ongoing research of several key LGBTQ issues in education, including: LGBTQ bias and discrimination; sexism, heterosexism, and the construction of gender; the intersection of human sexuality and multiple identities; LGBTQ issues for urban youth; and the use of affective education in preparing future teachers and school professionals for inclusive practice in schools.
