The Tow Center’s newest theater is acoustically exceptional and fully equipped. Suitable for film and television shoots, film screenings, concerts, theater, dance, and talks.

Built in 1954, the elegant Claire Tow Theater (formerly Whitman Hall) is suitable for film and television shoots, concerts, theater, dance, opera, comedy, talks, large meetings and conferences, and ceremonies.

Our black box theater is designed to accommodate traditional front-facing productions or performance in the round. Suitable for theater, dance, multimedia installations, and chamber music.

The acoustic curtain of this flexible space can be opened to look out over Brooklyn College’s beautiful library and clocktower or closed to serve as an intimate venue. Seating is flexible. Suitable for film and television shoots, film screenings, chamber music concerts, meetings, receptions, workshops, and presentations.
Ideal for dialogue replacement, this ADR suite features a climate-controlled booth for one or two actors and an Avid S6 console with ProTools. Equipped with premium microphones, Wi-Fi, and full control room setup.

Designed for sound effects recording, this Foley studio features a Foley pit, climate control, Avid S6 console with ProTools, and a range of high-end microphones. Includes full network access and adjacent control space.
This 1,308 sq. ft. space features dimmable lighting, blackout curtains, Wi-Fi, a 65″ UHD display, and a truss system for motion capture or rigging. Seating for up to 35, with optional tables and a counter area for console use.
This climate-controlled studio includes a live booth for up to 25 musicians, a Steinway baby grand piano, drum set, and a custom Avid S5 Fusion console with ProTools. Features high-end mics, amps, Wi-Fi, and a dedicated control room.
This fully equipped 1,445 sq. ft. studio features blackout curtains, ETC ION lighting control, 98″ 4K display, and cam-lock power for high-wattage lighting. Includes HDMI/Ethernet floor ports, Wi-Fi, and storage space—ideal for filming, conferencing, and multimedia production.
This 1,348 sq. ft. studio features a green cyc wall, blackout blinds, 98″ 4K display, and enhanced AV capabilities with ETC lighting, cam-lock power, and full networking. Ideal for video production, conferencing, and shoots requiring green screen support.
This 2,600 sq. ft. soundstage features a white cyc, 98″ 4K display, ETC lighting system, and robust AV/streaming support. Ideal for full-scale shoots and high-production setups requiring power-intensive lighting.
